FROM COUNTRY TO PLATE THE OLDEST LIVING FOOD CULTURE ON EARTH
Mirritya Mundya invites you to experience First Nations culture through taste, storytelling, and ceremony — in powerful culinary events designed to nourish both body and spirit.
About Us
More Than a Meal — A Cultural Experience
Mirritya Mundya, meaning “Hungry Blackfish” in the Ngarrigu language, is a First Nations-owned and led culinary company dedicated to sharing the richness of Aboriginal food culture with the world.
Led by Dwayne Bannon-Harrison, Mirritya Mundya delivers immersive food experiences that connect people to Country, culture, and community. Each dish is built on thousands of years of knowledge — from the native ingredients selected, to the stories they carry.
Our work spans high-end events, cultural dinners, education programs, and partnerships with some of Australia’s most iconic institutions — including the Sydney Opera House, Bangarra Dance Theatre, and NSW Parliament House.
